Who's Behind West Enducate
SINEAD LONG
Sinead is currently on tour with the musical adaptation of the beloved 1983 film, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN, playing Lynette Pomeroy.
With a lifelong love of musical theatre, Sinead has over 12 years of experience as a professional in the industry, and has had the privilege to teach along the way. Having performed in a number of West End shows, Sinead is passionate about equipping the next generation with the knowledge and tools needed for the industry while having a good time! She decided to combine her love of performing with her passion for teaching and West Enducate was born!
Sinead trained at The Arts Educational Schools, London, securing a BA(Hons) degree in Musical Theatre. Her West End and theatre credits include AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN (UK Tour), 9 TO 5 (Daegu Opera House), SYLVIA (The Old Vic), HAMILTON (Victoria Palace), CHESS (London Coliseum), JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, winner of the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Revival), LEGALLY BLONDE (UK Tour), JERSEY BOYS (UK Tour), SWEET CHARITY (Nottingham Playhouse), KING IN CONCERT (Hackney Empire), BAD GIRLS THE MUSICAL (Union Theatre), TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT (UK Tour).
Sinead's TV credits include Carly Ford in DOCTORS (BBC), PRINCE ANDREW THE MUSICAL (Hat Trick Productions, Channel 4), THE OLIVIER AWARDS (ITV). She has also performed as a vocalist for PARIS FASHION WEEK, and as a backing singer for Il Divo at THE CLASSICAL BRIT AWARDS.
Aside from Sinead's successful performing career. she is an established vocal coach. Her students have had success gaining top marks for ABRSM Musical Theatre singing exams and gained places at esteemed performing arts colleges, such as, Performers and Addict.
